Is ConsumersCount.Org a law firm?
No. ConsumersCount.Org empowers you to launch a case and join our civic movement to restore your rights. Should a case reach critical mass, ConsumersCount.Org will refer it to the Consumers Count Litigation Group, LLP, a separate entity run by qualified attorneys. Some of those attorneys are also associated with ConsumersCount. To the extent your claim is referred to them, they will be required to establish a written and independent, attorney-client relationship with you detailing your rights, their responsibilities and their compensation.
In an effort to discredit your grievance, as well as the pursuit of your rights, corporate apologists attack lawyers for their fees and seek to denigrate any attorney you might hire to advocate for your cause. Lawyers are an essential element of the Judiciary, the third branch of government. They are the doctors of the judicial system, seeking to diagnose and cure the ills that Corporate America seeks to deploy to infect the market with unfair and deceptive trade practices. Like a doctor, they are entitled to be paid for their professional services. Corporate America not only wants to convince you that you don’t need a lawyer, but they have devised a system, arbitration, and denied a constitutional right, the right to trial by jury, to make sure you cannot even hire a lawyer. Don’t be fooled. Look behind the curtain. You wouldn’t perform surgery on yourself. You shouldn’t be fighting corporations by yourself. ConsumersCount.Org will make sure you are not alone and we will not shy away from empowering you and empowering lawyers to assist you.
